We were invited to review their current infrastructure. One primary server, 30 workstations. Our initial review determined they were 100% open to intrusion based on their server and Sonicwall settings. The server was incorrectly setup, the Sonicwall had not been updated plus was out of warranty. The server had pending updates.
We proposed a solution to lock down their network, install a proper Sonicwall/Wifi, close all of the gaps in their ports, rewire their closet, change all network logons, correct multiple issues on the server and application software. Further, the prior IT provider deleted their Carbonite backup hence we installed and configure a new backup plan. In addition, all websites had to be migrated to a new hosting location.
We worked diligently to meet all of the objectives in a very short period of time, including through a holiday.
Office 365 Migration
We were tasked with the initial setup and migration from Exchange to O365 (E3) for 320 users. We executed a staged rollout and training to all end users. Net result is the client community is very happy with the result with limited down time.
Oliveira was tasked with identifying, planning, executing and managing a WiFi solution for an 800-student campus with 14 buildings. We integrated 54 Aerohive Access Points strategically throughout the campus, created multiple SSIDs, established policies for each and manage each device through the Aerohive portal. We update each device with the latest firmware when available.
We have also been tasked with establishing temporary installations for large events which includes capacity planning, upgrading existing wire with fiber, and installation of more robust Access Points.
